Sheltered housing Raunheim
In Raunheim in Hesse, as part of the “sheltered housing” concept, a total of 61 retirement homes were built, divided over four buildings. This means that some people in need of care are given the option of being able to manage their own lives to a large extent even when very old.
Due to the special requirements of the residents with regards to heat distribution, planners and building owners decided on an underfloor heating system covering 3600 m² (x-net C11 knob system) from Kermi. Comfortable warmth and high levels of comfort are therefore elementary components of the residential design concept

District Hospital Mainkofen
The District Hospital Mainkofen is an efficient modern specialist clinic with a total of 738 beds, distributed over the clinics for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics, for neurology with a certified stroke unit, clinic for neurological early rehabilitation as well as for forensic psychiatry. The facility founded in 1911 in the District of Lower Bavaria presents itself today as a generously refurbished specialist clinic equipped with the most up-to-date medical technology. In addition to that, step by step a comprehensive outpatient psychiatric network was developed with complementary services which are a authorised point of contact for both those looking for help and their relatives.
For the region itself, the District Hospital Mainkofen has developed to become an important employer. Currently there are 1500 employees at the district hospital, of which 100 are doctors and 650 qualified healthcare and nursing staff. They make sure that every patient feels well looked after and notice is taken of everyone with their individual requirements. Inside the residential and care units of the clinic, high quality Kermi shower enclosures have been installed.

District Hospital Regensburg
The facilities of the Oberpfalz region are distributed over six locations. In the District Hospital Regensburg, there are clinics and polyclinics for neurology as well as psychiatry, and also specialist clinics for childhood and adolescent psychiatry, for neurological rehabilitation and forensics, as well as the Institute for neuro-radiology. A care home, a vocational specialist school for health care and nursing and the Institute for Education and Personnel Development (IBP) are also located in Regensburg. In Wöllershof, approx. 100 km north of Regensburg, you will find the specialist clinic for psychiatry with a psychosomatic department and a rehabilitation clinic for addictions as well as a care home for people who are psychologically ill. In Parsberg, approx. 40 km to the west of Regensburg, there are a care home and special clinics for young drug addicts and also for lung and bronchial medical sciences.

Donau-Isar-Clinic Deggendorf

University Hospital Leipzig
With the ongoing constructional measures, the University Hospital Leipzig is giving the medical quarter in the heart of the city of Leipzig new character. Until 2007 a centre for women’s health and paediatrics was created and in 2008, the centre for conservative medicine was completed. The operative centre was already commissioned in 2003. This has resulted in the development of one of the most modern hospital complexes at the highest level in Germany.
The approx. 2200 Kermi plan hygiene radiators installed will ensure pleasant room temperature at all times.
