VDI 3805/6 data set radiators for importing into planning software via the import interface according to the data guideline VDI 3805 sheet 6 radiator edition (2015-07).

Note
The VDI 3805 sheet 6 data set replaced the BDH data set (Version 2.0 – Edition 1993) in 2007. Updating the data in the BDH data sets was stopped in 2007 – to the press release of the BDH.

Die VDI 3805 Richtlinie wurde in VDI Arbeitskreisen erarbeitet und verfolgt das Ziel einen einheitliches Datenformate für den Produktdatenaustausch im rechnergestützten SHK- Planungsprozess zu realisieren. For 2D / 3D CAD planning, the desired CAD file for the Kermi radiators can be generated online in the web browser using the VDI3805 web navigator. The CAD data can be downloaded for further processing in CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Nemitschek etc. in the following formats: DXF, DWG, IFC, STEP, RFA. Attributes are also available for the geometries, so the data can be used for the BIM process.

Kermi is a partner of the Federal Association of the German Heating Industry.
In the BDH portal solution www.bim4hvac.com, the BIM format “VDI 3805” from well-known manufacturers is available for the configuration of SHK products and the generation of CAD data for the BIM method.
Furthermore, web service interfaces are offered for updating the product data in the IT programs.
